Alex Carey (he/him)
Alex is a lifelong gamer with a love of sports and tactics games. Diagnosed with SMA type 2 Alex uses a power chair for mobility. He studied as a designer in the SIAT program at Simon Fraser University and works as indie game designer. He also has his Ablegamers APX certification and Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC).

Anni Pekie (she/her)
Anni is a communications and PR specialist, photographer and accessibility advocate. She has been deaf since she was a baby, but uses hearing aids, lipreading and her voice to navigate the hearing world. She hopes for as many games as possible to become a refuge for disabled players rather than a repetition of the barriers they already face every day.

Kennedie Griggs (she/her)
Kennedie is a disabled content creator and accessibility advocate who has been working in the mental health field since the age of 16 when she was made an ambassador for the Clean in ‘16 campaign by the nonprofit Beneath the Skin. She also has a YouTube series called The Level where she reviews and educates her audience on accessibility.

Amy Kavanagh (she/her)
Dr Amy Kavanagh is an award winning activist, disability consultant and content creator. Amy is a low vision gamer who loves to explore open worlds, solve puzzles and sneak her way around most games. Amy is committed to celebrating disability, mobility aids and encouraging others to learn about the social model of disability.
Blindness
Ross Minor (he/him)
Ross Minor is a blind accessibility consultant and content creator specializing in gaming who has been working in the industry for over 5 years. He has been responsible for collaborating with game development studios such as Ubisoft, Interior Night, and EA Games and has consulted for games including Sea of Thieves, As Dusk Falls, Madden and many more.
Colourblind
Brian Chandler (he/him)
Brian is owner of Colorblind Games, a website that serves color vision deficient gamers, game designers, and publishers. His primary advocacy work focuses on board and card games, and he has been an avid video gamer for more than 40 years. Brian also works in traffic engineering, where he promotes accessible transportation planning and design.
Cognitive
Hannah Dowers (she/her)
Hannah is an autistic UX Researcher, with a focus on creating accessible technology, as well as an avid gamer and has played for over 15 years. Although Hannah was diagnosed with autism later in life, she always knew she was different from her peers. Hannah is currently earning her Google UX Certificate.
Speech
Patrycja Polowczyk (she/her)
Patrycja has over 5 years of experience in game development working as a Producer and Tester. As a person who stutters, she developed a keen interest in speech, language and communication, always searching for tools that facilitate it. She became a member of the American Institute for Stuttering in early 2021, where she continues to explore her disability.
